This exciting event will help NGO decision makers, municipal water service providers, engineers, capacity builders and fund raisers to understand more about what is being done today with solar water pumps. The workshop and training session is appropriate for both emergency relief and community development focused staff. We will look at topics such as wide area water supply, water payment systems

24th October

Morning: Introduction to the new opportunities that solar water pumping brings.

Afternoon: Case studies and experience sharing.

25th October

Morning: Planning solar water pumping systems. This will include system design, sizing, site planning and building for the future.

Afternoon: Understanding how hybrid power can play an important role in meeting water needs. We will also discuss utility payment models for water and how remote monitoring and management can reduce costs, improve reliability and improve fund raising.
